    Good timing. Here in Rochester NY we went from 64 degrees on Wednesday (record high for the date) to a foot of snow on the ground by midday Friday.

    white leg season (not to be confused with whitetail season) will soon be here in Minnesota – even for those who wore shorts (not counting underwear) all winter – yes there are some young’uns and a very few older ones that do that.

    Some people believe typical winter attire in Seattle is Birkenstocks, cargo shorts, flannel shirt, and a down vest (there is a kernel of truth to this belief).
