What was that, that just flew over Alice’s head?

Whenever I give someone a wrapped book as a gift, I tell them “Its a sweater.” I’m still waiting to get my first laugh.

So funny that I forgot to laugh.

When I was a kid my parents had a friend who dated a man like that. I hated him. Fortunately it didn’t last long.

That “Hm” at the end means either it’s NOT Dill’s birthday or he forgot that it was.
