And how do they plan on paying for these tax cuts for the rich? Simple. Tax increases and slashed benefits for the poor. It’s only fair.

It is much worse than a war on the poor. It is a war on the national economy and, by extension, the global economy. If you shrink the national government’s input into the economy beyond some unknown tipping point, the whole thing goes into the tank. Financial markets & systems collapse, businesses large and small soon follow, and very soon the snowball is unstoppable. Great Depression Redux. Brought to you by the same political party that gave you the original, and with the same “reasons” and political economic arguments too.

Tax cuts for the rich is what the Republican establishment is really after. It is the entire reason for their being the Republican establishment. They don’t really give a whit about health care except for the opportunity to give themselves something others don’t have.

    .

It is also the same reason that establishment Republicans endure the insults from Trump’s tweets and speeches — tax cuts for the rich are entirely what their donors are after. Except that the Koch Brothers also want an authoritarian society — tax cuts that result in a widening of wealth inequality are another step to get there.

    .

The Trump Disciples who post here are not really good a math or that fact stuff, so they believe they, themselves are going to benefit from tax cuts — for the same reason they believe that if they send Pat Robertson money, they will be steps closer to getting to heaven when they die.

    .

Remember, they still believe that Mexico will pay for The Wall.

Tax cuts for the rich while the rest of us get mass shootings and super storms. The Republicans never cared about healthcare or helping the middle class with tax reform. It was all for the .1% to get their tax cuts. Republicans only know how to trick the poor into appeasing the rich.

With privatization galloping along, the “hot tub” will indeed be owned by some rich guy. Along with everything else; mercenaries – er, soldiers, libraries, roads, once-public land, water, air…..

I think the working poor and middle class should be willing to accept a tax increase so the 0.1% can get yuuuugh tax cuts. Why? Because eventually the tax cuts to the super wealthy will trickle back down (at some point, and boy, it will be great when it does, so I don’t wanna miss that party) and EVERYONE will benefit. Trump himself said it would be like “rocket fuel” for the economy. We have never tried this trickle-down before. I betcha this will work. Cuz magic!

They wish to ‘drown’ small government, but to make it ‘small’ they must first make it irrelevant and to do that they have appointed the idiots, imbeciles and morons among them to head the government and its various departments to produce “rot” from within. and it appears to be working, sad to say!

Economy is shrinking. GOP recommendation = tax cuts for the 0.1 %… Economy is stagnating. GOP recommendation = tax cuts for the 0.1 %…. Economy is growing. GOP recommendation = tax cuts for the 0.1%… Middle class is doing OK. GOP recommendation = tax cuts for the 0.1 %… Middle class is hurting. GOP recommendation = tax cuts for the 0.1 %
