In the spring, we found out Andy had AIDS….

I’m not sure exactly when this strip ran, but his apartment was destroyed, and he survived, in the Loma Prieta earthquake in October…

I don’t remember whether this was that apartment, or this is where he went when he got out of the hospital after that….

but he had rented from Mrs. Pocatelli before…

and somewhere in the 1989 archive you could find the whole story.
