    Well, Scott has said before that he didn’t like Trump. Only eight months since inauguration and he’s finally started an arc about it. We shall see.

    As long as you keep deluding yourself that Trump is a republican.

    @j gray HAHAHAHAHAHAH Oh that was a good one! Now do the one about needing (and failing with) 10 Benghazi investigations because GOPers were too stupid, incompetent, and dishonest the first 9 times.

    Sorry, it wasn’t the Dems that came up with the term RINO. The GOP in their quest for “purity” did.

    “Unlike the Dems, who demand total, complete and unthinking allegiance,”

    The Dems didn’t come up with “Reagan’s 11th Commandment.”

    @Carl Palmateer Trump knew enough that his selfish, greedy, short-sighted, racist, sexist, science denying, anti-regulatory, etc, ad infinitum ad nauseam impulses would find a ready base in the Republican party. He is the epitome of where they have been headed for years.

    It’s okay, Carmen. We have too many people in this country who think what they are told to think……or think because they are Republican, they can only think Republican…..or if they are Democrat, they can only think Democrat. It’s sad. We should all be one country with one government working for the greater good – not pitting ourselves against each other.

    @Perkycat In the short term, it depends on who gets to define what “The Greater Good” is.

    In the long term, there is not (and should never be) a single solution. That way leads to Darwinian extinction.

    What’s wrong is hating Because of party. Both sides are guilty of producing the “hold your nose & vote against” election. The other guy isn’t our biggest issue, try boring old infrastructure maintenance jobs.

    You can hate him, if it took you until he worked with Democrats to finally hate him, you should reserve judgement, he’ll go back to your good old Republican leader soon enough.

    Note to Republican & Democrats – Trump is a party of one. Don’t get your hopes up, he is totally transactional. Remember you are dealing with an intellectual and emotional 12 year old.

    Yes, Carmen, reserve your admiration and adulation for the rest of the Republicans who are striving to turn the entire country over to patriotic multinational corporations.

    Make sure you focus solely on Trump and don’t look behind the other curtain.

    .

    I mean, Hatred Of Obama is not such an easy thing to have taken away, right?

    Bernie ran as a Dem, Donald ran as a Pub. Both are populists, albeit in different flavors.

    You probably would have hated Cruz as much or more than you hate Trump. You do understand, I hope, that had The Donald stayed home in NYC, Cruz would be our current POTUS.

    And before you say no, consider Hillary without your partisan blinders. The Dems chose the only person guaranteed to lose and the GOP chose the only person Hillary had a vague chance of beating.

    @Andrew Litkowiak Ok, I’ve considered.

    Trump won by almost -3 million votes;

    with the help of extensive gerrymandering and voter suppression in GOP controlled states;

    + Billion dollars in Free media coverage of Trump, his rallies and his tweets;

    After “10” tax payer funded Benghazi investigations that turned up nothing (including the caught on camera admissions of high level GOP pols admitting they only did it to hurt her campaign);

    The Media’s single minded focus on Hillary’s Emails, while jumping, covering, and then moving on from all the Trump non-stop litany of unprofessional, immoral, and illegal conduct;

    A GOP disinformation campaign by the GOP since the days of Nixon;

    The FBI director’s unprofessional editorial comments on why he didn’t bring charges;

    The same FBI director’s Oct 2016 timing of re-opening, and then re-closing the Email investigation with “Oops, sorry…. same emails”;

    And (not finally by any means) the curious questions of Russian / Trump Campaign contacts before, during, and after the election.

    Yeah, Trump’s victory looked completely inevitable. (eye roll) I can provide citations for each and every one of the above points.

    Now without “your partisan blinders.”

    It’s Your Turn….
