One’s own trench is somewhat of an achievement.

NOW they’ve done it. Everybody’s gonna want a trench and the whole neighborhood is gonna look like a WWI battlefield……..

I don’t know if I am reading it correctly. To me it looked like they each have a trench on one side of the fence. But do they share a single trench? That could put a strain on a relationship.

Moving on to Cleveland…Stel (and may she get well soon) has posted a poster for Basset Halloween III! Looks pretty scary, but in the human version, the scariest thing is the earworm: “Six more days to Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, six more days to Halloween, Silver Shamrock!” Ugh, now it is back in my head. For the humans III was the worst of the series and had nothing to do with I and II. I will look forward to the Basset version at the Bassetplex and hope it is better!

Good morning, Ballardeers! Q Date: 228.98421.31 Gotta love Fall …ing in the neighbor’s trench.

Greg and Carla must have the local Trench Coats R Us.

Susan must still be behind the couch. Like Dennis, I hope Bassetween III is better than the human version. Kinda killed the franchise for me.

Y’all keep your feet dry. (((((Hugs))))))

Each year, the Great Basset rises out of the Sherpa strip that he thinks is the most sincere.

(Y’all are lucky I don’t wear jewelry or I’d make you kiss my … ring)

    P.S. Get well Stel.

John Glynn left GC. Is it a good or bad portent for Sherpa comics?

Since I never saw this movie, the only thing I could think of is Shakespeare’s:

    Double, double, toil and trouble;

    Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

I’ll join Susan on the scardy-cat row for the matinee.

Greg and Carla, {sigh}, always keeping up with the Jones. In this case Mariana Jones. Mariana’s Trench may be bigger, but it’s also too far away for most Ballardeers to ever visit.

Just in case anybody’s still looking….

A funny thing happened on the way to the comics last night…

    I fell asleep.

    Oops.

But before that, I talked to StelBel….

It’s up and down, but she’s doing a bit better… at least she was last night.

She was planning to post here, herself…. I know she wants to thank everybody… but maybe she wasn’t quite able.

    Hopefully, she will be soon.
