One’s own trench is somewhat of an achievement.

They know how to get the moats from their property.

That’s a trenchant statement.

NOW they’ve done it. Everybody’s gonna want a trench and the whole neighborhood is gonna look like a WWI battlefield……..

So, the ladder is for the occasonal truce negotiations?

I don’t know if I am reading it correctly. To me it looked like they each have a trench on one side of the fence. But do they share a single trench? That could put a strain on a relationship.

Moving on to Cleveland…Stel (and may she get well soon) has posted a poster for Basset Halloween III! Looks pretty scary, but in the human version, the scariest thing is the earworm: “Six more days to Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, six more days to Halloween, Silver Shamrock!” Ugh, now it is back in my head. For the humans III was the worst of the series and had nothing to do with I and II. I will look forward to the Basset version at the Bassetplex and hope it is better!
