Tai chi, Janet. You will never get bored. Too much too learn. And, it gets better as you age. Millions of Chinese practice at sunrise & sunset. The slow, muscle engaging movements are called “poetry in motion”, but it is a deadly martial art. Most practice for health & wellness. There are so many layers to each movement that again, you will never get bored. It takes years to master, but who’s in a hurry? I guarantee, that when you see an 80 year old lady go to a tree & stick one leg up in a complete split for a warm-up, you will be hooked! Walking, gym machines, etc., are very boring.
Hmm. Two ways this may play out….. the first and most likely is that this is going to lead to the move to the coast to be with Gene, MaryLou, “Squirt” and Gus. That will indeed be fun if that is JJ’s path. The less likely way, however, is some sort of marital issue…. there have been occasional comics by JJ over the last few months that have that sort of “marital issue” vibe about them at least a little bit. I do NOT REALLY think JJ would have that occur between Arlo and Janis, but I do have to admit every once in a while, there is a little bit of that feeling in the comic (the one published two days ago, for instance has a tiny bit of that feel).
