I had science classes like that. Tended to stupefy the teachers with how basic laws of nature tended to hang up their hats and leave the room when I walked in.

Anyone old enough to remember the Mister Yuck stickers? The bacteria in the Petri dish in the second to the last panel reminds me of that.

Seems this might be time to call in INS reporter Carl Kolchak since this is surely going to start killing people with a dangerous intelligence…

You spread your sample on the growth medium with a wire loop, at least that’s how I’ve done this. You could easily draw pictures.

Gotta see what we have in the lab at work.

So science isn’t your thing, Paige…that already goes without saying. No need to drag the poor bacteria into this as well.

I remember the biology experiment where we took petri dishes and stood with them open in various parts of the building for 10 minutes and then brought them back to incubate. The nastiest growth was from the boy’s locker room. No surprise there. They sealed the dishes afterwards and incinerated them.

Reminds me of one Halloween where Lisa’s biology experiment grows intelligent and go through a faster rate of developmental time.
