That’s actually clever! It might actually prevent him from actually doing it because then he will get an A+ in science, then Mom and Dad will go SO ecstatic that they will take him out of school!

Calvin should be careful…

Mid 1980’s. Bog standard Australian suburban high school.

Teaching mate had had a big night out.Apparently came home, stripped down.Pants, jocks in one fell swoop.Went to bed.Woke (worse for wear). In a hurry and hangover fog.Fresh jocks. Pants (from night before) straight on.Off to work (school).

Trapped jocks from night before…“Let me free, let me free !”

First class for morning.Year 9 (fifteen year olds, boys and girls)Him sitting on teachers desk, legs swinging in the breeze.“Sir… look !” from one of the guys.Last night’s jockey briefs flapping around at ankle !

Much jocularity (so to speak).

He lasted less than a year at teaching high school.

Went on to study Law. (I kid you not.)

Must have a thing for briefs.

(Yes, he really was that stupid.)

Today’s Monday…maybe I should try Calvin’s idea

Hold on a second there, Mom – if it makes him want to get up for school…

This guy has taken Calvin’s idea and made it practical.

Good find. I got nothing today.

That only works if you are Quicksilver, Calvin. Then you could save your friends from getting shot by the bullets of police officers and also save a bunch of students from an exploding mansion.

Calvin, it is if I aim WELL! Well is an adverb. Should be used here.

Let him do it. Sooner or later he must learn to protect his, er, assets.
