As I’m reading this, I can hear fireworks going off. This will go on for days yet!

We overstocked as kids so we could enjoy them longer but then not enough to constantly fire them off. Funding was tight as paper routes and lawn mowing were not making you wealthy. hand in hand with that Dad always made us put money away for later.

Sooner or later they’re going to run out. Yawn.

“Call the police on them before they burn down the houses around them.”-Provided they don’t shoot them first and then ask questions later.

Hey, we, um… they have to use up their supply.

Sadly in my area, the first, second, third and fourth……. basically NON-STOP noise from the damn things from about 7pm until about 5am. But the week before there was a lot of fireworks as well…. and now, three days later there is still alot…. especially from about 9pm to midnight. It goes on and on and on. Then there is another uptick around Labor Day.

Fireworks are at half-price now. It’s a great time to shoot them off!

We had lots of noise from the first to the fourth, but it didn’t go past midnight for the most part, and has been quiet since the fifth. It actually seems better since they became legal in town for 10 days, ending the fourth.

She’s got it easy. Some fool(s) apparently set off an M-80 at the San Francisco Hospital today, which led to reports of shots fired, evacuation, bomb squad, etc.

Our area is under a ban because we haven’t had rain in weeks….people seem to be complying after several days of protest.
