As compared to Florida, where government officials are prohibited from using the words “climate change” by the Republican governor.

Nobody expects to have their paid-for-by-Big-Oil foolishness challenged by 98 percent of the world’s scientists!

I’m guessing the some people perceive a world-wide, well funded, conspiracy to prevent unAmerican, non-competitive, old money, fossil fuel, oligopolies from making every increasing profit as the finite energy supply is depleted and moves carbon trapped underground into the atmosphere which is disrupts climate patterns and replace it with cleaner, safer, competitive, cost-effective job-creating, renewable energy sources that won’t affect the climate.

There is little rational denial that the annual mean temperature of Earth is rising; whether man is causing it, or just assisting in the normal swings in climate, or having no impact is the dispute. Regardless of the answer to that question; for the interim I suggest moving to Higher Ground, Buying Seersucker Suits, Straw Hats, and Storm Shelters!

Wonder what the Florida republicans are going to say when a good portion of Miami is underwater.

Warming, drought, climate change, massive fires, and tar sands; ask our friends to the north whether there are any impacts of our activities.

The GOP’s “Climate-change Denial” goes back, at least, the G. H. W. Bush’s campaign in ’92. Today it is continued by the same mentality that insisted that smoking cigarettes did not cause lung cancer!
