The Bellamy twins are the most conjoined non-conjoined twins I’ve ever seen.

I only hope they don’t decide to start saving on checkered pants… or… ewww… on underwear.

Bev…. I left pics for you just before the turn.Said thanks to Shika there too.Dry…. forgot to say…. thank you, too.If you don’t see me, don’t leave my okra with Bev, pretty please. With the Monkey would be safer… he won’t touch vegetables. You have to insist it goes in the real refrigerator… not the big, wheeled “food saving cabinet” outside.

The Bellamy twins are just practicing their acting roles as a kangaroo and a joey.

They only get mistaken for a kangaroo when the lights bad.

I used to carry my daughter like that when she was about one. Now I can barely get into that coat by myself.

Darn, drat, grrrr! I came on to post only to find my computer was in the middle of updating to Windows 10 ALL BY ITSELF without my permission!I had a heck of a time trying to find my mail and then jump through hoops to find the comics. This is not going to be pretty, apparently they really don’t want me to use Google, but I’ll show ‘em!They said everything was where I left it, well I still haven’t found eBay!

Bev… (in re yesterday) Hah!You think I’m afraid of you?

Hah.OK well maybe a little bit.

I do like the leopard sitting in a box, just like a big cat.

    Ohhh…. right…..

Meanwhile….Rose… eBay is online….it should be right where you left it.

If it’s a browser bookmark (or favorite)… did Windows 10 mess with your browser? You can get all that back, you know.Too much to go into here and now… but eventually somewhere…. LOL

Normally, I would never miss a birthday party – especially for one of my very favorite friends….but …. there I was, already to set sail Saturday, somewhat slowed, and sidetracked, by such sojourns specified by spouse when suddenly I was shaken to sobriety and somewhat shocked ! The earth was moving – or more precisely the building was swaying.

Only a Hurricane or an Earthquake could ever keep me from wishing you a Happy Birthday. Guess what ? We got the Earthquake !

At any rate, please accept my humble apologies for not being there. I’ll make it up to you, I promise.

    Ahoy Ballardeers

Just to let those of you who were wondering, the ole Capt. came away unscathed from Saturday’s horrendous 7.8 earthquake, here in Ecuador.

Although, like every good pirate .. eh.. smuggler ..um.. entrepreneur in the import export trade, I live on the coast,Machala, the Banana Capital of the World, is the furthest city/seaport south. The epicenter of the quake was far to the north of us in Esmeraldas and spread out from there. While we felt enough of the initial shock to make me a little more unstable than I already am, we were fortunate not to sustain any damage or loss of life – unlike our unfortunate neighbors in Guayaquil and upwards along the coast in Bahia, Puerto Vija, Manabi, Manta and many other cities.

I said on another post but it bears repeating. The people of Ecuador are resilient and face adversity head on – mas duro, mas fuerza ! They won’t give up, although many have lost everything, including family – which is everything ! They will rebuild and go on, with the grit and determination, that makes them so outstanding. Viva Ecuador !

For those of you so inclined, a little prayer for these courageous folks couldn’t hurt.

Is that a twin in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

“Susan”I stayed up til 3am and got everything sorted out. I now have to take 2 steps to get somewhere instead of the old one, but everything is still here.Biggest surprise, and a welcome one, is that the print is much bigger and clearer.I often skipped the comic Sylvia because there is no enlarge function on it and she is quite gabby. Now I can see it clearly!

This cartoon reminds me of Matt Damon hidden in Ben Affleck’s coat on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Laughed really hard at that one.

    Linguist!

So glad you’re OK!We were worried.

My birthday should be the least of your worries….Hope there aren’t relatives (by marriage, of course) and friends to worry about in more Northern parts of Ecuador.

Birthday greetings, salutations, cakes, gifts, and festivities are gratefully accepted any time during April….and if that window is too small….. they’re appreciated any time at all!So… thank you!!

Number Six… Great to see you here again.Gotta say you sure made a racket last night … I had just gone to bed, to recover from a second day’s celebration….Don’t you know some people had hangovers?Rose…. um… in re: Windows 10 ..did the upgrade change what browser you’re using? Maybe from Internet Explorer to the new one, Edge? (Or maybe they changed your font settings.) I use Firefox and nothing happened to it whatsoever.

AND I MUST AGREE WITH SIX! What happened here last night? I was like SUPER LATE FOR WORK THIS AM! HAD ONE HECK OF A HANGOVER! GEEZ! I had to make up a story about a HUGE traffic jam, in a community with a population of about 15000! (I don’t think my boss believed me!)

I was late to the party last night, but I could see from people strewn about, and odd bits of food left, that is was great. I left some Liquid Sunshine for libations. It looks like that got used up by Dry! She says that is reached 80 degrees in Sunny Pennsylvania! I wonder if that was the real temperature, or just how hot it felt after drinking the Liquid Sunshine!
