Phoebe and Her Unicorn by Dana Simpson for March 17, 2016
Transcript:
Marigold: Before we were friends, I liked my oats plain. Thanks to your human influence, I now like them on an oat sandwich. With pickles. Recently, I have developed a very strong preference that my sandwiches be cut diagonally. Thank you for giving me a whole new way of being a spoiled diva! Phoebe: Cheers.

Diagonally cut sandwiches look (a little bit) like a unicorn horn! Or head!

I’m such a picky eater, when my mom was pregnant with me, she lost her appetite instead of having weird cravings. I’d like to see anyone’s high standards top that.

Can’t help but notice that neither of them are wearing green…

I am wearing green, but you can’t see me. I like my sandwiches cut diagonally because I like to eat the corners first.

LOL! When I was a kid, I liked having my crusts cut off. Phoebe ought to suggest that. XD

Oat bread! Now we’re living the unicorn dream!

It’s a well known fact that diagonally cut sandwiches taste better, the angle of the bread as it enters the mouth allows more air to surround each bite, the oxygen in the air combines with the flavour molecules radicalising them, thus enhancing the flavour. It must be true I managed to get the word thus in the sentence ;-P

So that kind of proves that humans are more spoiled than Unicorns.
