He negotiated his own ransom with some Krugerrands that his even worse sidekick Brenner was trying to steal from him. Definitely a lovable old rogue!

I like Duke. He is interesting, if conniving. When once asked why he didn’t just steal money he answered “Point of pride. I’ve always worked within the system”.
