It can also happen when your internet service is momentarily slow…they might show up if you refresh later in the day…. or night… depending on where you are, when your service is up to speed.
Chuck is beginning to bother the Ballard Birds a bunch ! He is messing around in one of their officially designated birdbaths.
They complained to the Ballard City Council & Greek Chorus Line, after he broke the last one trying to dive into it.He was fined and had to buy a new one ( out of Nora’s nest egg money ).
You’d have thought he’d have learned his lesson by now !
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Ballard Blue Jays starting dive bombing him, while the Park Pigeons and the Spring Road Robins start dropping a few “droppings” on him, as well !

The bird bath and Me.An ode to…….something.The bird bath.The soft concrete device in which birds are known to bathe.Serenely they prune and preen while splashing water about their feathery bodies.Such fun they have splashing.Why so should I spend a perfectly good afternoon not enjoying the same pleasures.Am I not deserving?Have I not given enough to treat my self to such worldly pleasures?Finally I decide that I should have the same fun and enjoy splashing and preening my self.So I broke the last one…..twas not I silly woman…..there was this condor…….Alas her stern gaze assails my soul.I am held back……my thirst and desire only grows stronger.The bird bath still becons………I will preen.(Thank you…….I am here all weekend…….)
Bev… “today” and “tomorrow” are confusing on the comics, cos we post at the turn…which means on the west coast, at least, it’s still yesterday when I make my first comments on a new strip.But I just checked back, and the last posts from you with images that I see are on the forum for Monday the 28th …
but there are none for Tuesday the 29th nor for “today”… Wednesday the 30th.
There are neither empty posts from you, nor any with “missing image” icons….
only posts with text in them, and no indication of any others having been made.
But yes, I know they were here…and they remain on other forums.
And I’ve had three or more posts completely disappear this week as well…
I seem to recall that one contained an image, but it was just an old Ballard St strip…and the others were short, and all text.
