    In the long term, changing the trees’ colour would kill them, unless she also changed their biochemistry from the ground up to alter the wavelengths at which their chloroplasts functioned.

    Pink trees are beautiful, but smell terrible.The sky looked paisley to Vincent van Gogh. That wasn’t really a good thing.

    The easy way to do this is to cast a spell on Phoebe that causes her to see the trees as pink and the sky as paisley.
