I could concur with Rat through the first two panels. But in panel 3 he goes astray. Leave vengeance to a higher authority, Rat! (Not that Rat will….)

Rat must mean he forgives, then plans his revenge and when done…he forget about it all.

I was always taught, turn the other cheek and forgive but never forget and don’t keep your cheek facing to get slapped even more, remove yourself from the situation or change the situation.
