Perhaps that meow meant, “Jon, you’re an idiot.”

Time to short-sheet Garfield’s sleepy box – peanut butter works for me.

What we have here is a failure to communicate.

I love the way Garfield found time to play Tic Tac Toe on Jon’s head!

It loses something in the translation.

Glad to see that Garf hasn’t totally lost his bite.

What was your first indication?

There’s a lesson here, Jon. NEVER mess with a cat when he’s hungry. You know what he’s capable of!

My daughters & I were cat-sitting for a friend. I was explaining to them some of the body language of the cat. At one point I said, “I speak fluent feline.” The cat turned and gave me a look that was so obviously “Say, WHAT?” that I laughed and amended, “Sorry…I UNDERSTAND fluent feline.” The cat nodded and went back to playing with my younger daughter.

…and THAT is why you should never tease a cat :)….

Having a sense of humour is quite dangerous for Jon.
