I actually have a problem with what Luann did to recruit Knute, Ox, and Tiffany to clean up the warehouse. The warehouse isn’t a charity; it’s a business owned by her parents. She basically got people to come and do volunteer work for a for-profit business.

And, ironically, TJ and Tiffany were excoriated for doing something similar with their “meals for firefighters” business a while back.

Oxford and Tiffany work so well together! He has his strength and good common sense (just what Tiff needs, by the way) and she has her cheerleading skills. Combined, they get the job done and have fun in the process!Tiffany should come around to seeing that Oxford is her best choice for more-than-just-a-pal (which is the most Gunther is ever likely to be).

Story prediction: Gunther shows up and has a fit of jealousy over finding Tiff and Ox working together.

Wasn’t it just an email to her friends saying to come an help clean and there will be pizza? where did the for profit/charity come in?

Application of previously unappreciated skills..Tiffany does a good thing: she replaces an extension pole.

I won’t get into the for-profit versus non-profit argument, except to say there are such passionate followers of this strip, but I will say Ox understands how to exploit some inherent cheerleader qualities of Tiffany to a good end. Will she stay this clean or will something happen, I wonder? I don’t think there is any kind of romantic thing going on, remember Ox is also one of the richer kids it was revealed, but also Evans does a good job of drawing character traits as well as character pictures and situations, so my view is that the Tiffany/Gunther relationship is more likely. That is just my hope for nerds and cheerleader thing though.

Is it me or is Tiffany becoming……human?

8I really enjoyed the panels today, and the ending was a joyfully playful and fun surprise!!!!I have been very much enjoying the humanizing of Tiffany. She is maturing into a very nice young lady and I like that this is the route Greg appears to be moving her towards! I also enjoy the playful, fun side of Ox too. He has always been a good character, but I think this series of panels is expanding the dimensions of his personality too.

This is so cool - we’ve been concerned because Tiff had no true friends- just frenemies and a BF who often put her down.*Now both Gunther and Ox recognize her as a person, not just a starlet. Both are helping her grow. She is blessed!

Panel 2 shows Tiff kinda horrified by the cobwebs but panel 3 she has a smile on her face as Ox plays with her leg & ankle while whisking her around with the leaf rake! Did he look up her skirt yet or is that to happen later? The weekend is starting, enjoy yourselves!

*An acrobat…… Tiff is finally displaying a cool skill. Many people would be afraid to do that. But Tiff was cheerleader and maybe those moves and skills will be valuable to her some day.

I think Gunther may be on the love “wagon” for awhile. After Rosa, Tiff was just a rebound thing and he’s still got that empty feeling.
