Dear Dana, Never got the chance to say congratulations! I am so happy for you and it could not have gone to a nicer person! As a cartoonist, I know how hard it is to make it into this business and I’m so glad you got in! Congrats again and can’t wait until they nominate you for a Reuben!
I tried to teach my daughter to play chess. She quickly got tired (this from a girl who could play Angry Birds for hours) and declared her pawns to be nuclear missiles and threw them at my side.
We use to play Chess based on the Atomic Age.Nuke Chess……if you are losing just yell NUKE!!!!and fling the board in the air scattering the pieces.What the heck did we know….bunch of dumb grunts in Nam playing chess. We would all sit about and laugh about it.
