Wow, this is close to the bone. For someone like me to actually do this is almost beyond comprehension. Being oblivious comes crashing down when you are in the middle of a major shopping centre and your wife points this out.
Colorists usually get about ten minutes a strip… they’re paid, and not well, for one hour a week, per title, to do six dailies. Some color several titles, some only one.You can’t even call it a part time job… not enough hours. Some spend more time on it; some even read the strip… But they don’t get paid for it. They only do the work at all cos they love comics and being part of it.So please… don’t be harsh!

@beviakStarting with an image disables the Reply button. Comparing the b&w image to your “fix”, the shoes that were white are now black. No offense, but I suggest you keep your day job.
