Those poker games with grandpa paying off…
In elementary school, we had the assignment to use the 20 spelling words for the week in sentences. I asked if we could use more than one word in a sentence. She said yes. Mine went:
The teacher said, “Johnny, your spelling words for the week are…”
My teacher was less than thrilled…
and if Seth hadn’t been playing he wouldn’t have been slapped – location location location!
Hope the teacher has a great sense of humor.
Reminds me of the joke from when we were kids.“Use the words defense, defeat, and escort in a sentence.”
“The cat jumped over defense with defeat, and got his escort.”
I figured she would reach across and slap him around a bit.
Fold and live to fold again.
