Vitamin is quite right. It must have been a huge thrill to cower on the Captain Video show. Bet he popped a whole bottle of vitamins….

They gave Vitamin an actual surplus military uniform to wear! In clips I have seen of the show, the extra rangers wore business suits while wearing crash helmets. The show’s budget couldn’t afford extra uniforms.

Ok, I wonder what how this Captain Video will lead to the next capper for Tracy? I also wonder if Mrs. Flattop, Venus and Meilies are upset that Abner Kadaver didn’t finish the job of killing Tracy?

Also, is that Fritz Ann or Lizz talking to Vitamin? They look identical. I bet Sam gets confused!

This current storyline is starting out as exciting as watching deathtrap cement dry!Honestly, SDM, I wonder about your attention span. Even Chester Gould had quiet interludes between stories at times, and scenes of the detective team at HQ talking and drinking coffee. A suggestion that has been made before is that you might want to wait, and read a week’s worth of strips all at one time. You would then see how easy it is to breeze through these small interludes, which usually contain exposition elements, setting up a story.

What’s the Dumont building?

The Bridge Maintenance Dept. must have flushed him out early this morning…… or, someone accidentally blew the troll whistle and woke him up.

Actually, the coloring on the strip has improved quite a bit, and is often better than the Comics Kingdom version.Notwithstanding the wrong color for Abner’s skin, and those (filthandfoul) blue horns they put on Mysta!

DuMont is where Jackie Gleason started on TV with his sketches including the Honeymooners.

“Captain Video” was on the DuMont network, hence “DuMont Building.”That said, ye gods! Vitamin was on “Captain Video” as an ADULT? That show was on from 1949 to 1955. Just how old is Vitamin supposed to be, now?

With all the excitement, I kind of expected Vitamin had been in more of a starring role, but knowing Vitamin, I should have expected that it was all quite overblown.

He didn’t threaten you. He just asked for your e-mail address. I doubt if he was referring to physical address…… there isn’t a mailbox under the bridge, is there? Didn’t think so.

Vitamin was based on John Barrymore, an actor known for his profile… and his ego.

“Life in jeopardy?” C’mon now! With the easy access of in formation, everyone’s address is available. Like I told you long ago, there are dozens of websites that for a mere $9 will cough up every number you hold dear. You were giving out what I would call personal information just a few weeks ago. Only a fool would do that. And your mirror-image has posted his life’s story, including pics and contact info all over the Internet. Social networking has compromised millions of people and their security. I say this to anyone who will listen, “If you want your data spread all over the planet, get on the internet.” Otherwise, keep a low profile and stay under that bridge abutment!

SDM, continued…. And I betcha somewhere, somehow, there is a crossover database that correlates your aka (pen name) to your given name and a list of your family members, ages, and past addresses. Included would be DL#’s,and just about anything anyone wants to know. I know Law Enforcement has access to aliases you go by. You and I have no identity protection now.

The victors often squabble over the spoils, either among themselves or with other powerful animals like lions.Spotted hyenas are quite vocal and make a wide variety of sounds, including the “laughing” that has long been associated with their name.It seems wise to avoid hyenas. It is always wise to starve a troll.
