He IS vulnerable to air attack, and the wall doesn’t look all that high that it couldn’t be scaled, or artillery [snowballs]lobbed over it.

Not safe from yourself.

And now finally the world is safe from Calvin

I remember little things like that, that were funny to us at the time. Now a days it’s spot on Dr. Phil and a child abuse/endangerment charge. Sad.

HELP him please…

A perfect allegory for the military-industrial complex.

Sometimes when we build walls to keep ourselves safe we find out it is really a trap.

In a room with no windows, A room with no doors.

As usual, Calvin’s live-in-the-moment philosophy comes back to bite him because he’s once again failed to think his impulsive actions through to their logical consequences. It’s what happens when you live for the moment and forget to keep one eye on the future, as Calvin always does.

Walled forts have always been vulnerable to siege weapons, the snowball probably being among the first.

Get Hobbes to use his tail as a rope…
