Okey-dokey, they are all idiots! Look out people of Crustwood, Ma has a driver’s license and is not afraid to use it.

That’s why they call ‘em ’idiot lights’ — it shows just who the idiots are!

No gas gauge, either. They’re very dangerous…. you have to watch them all the time.

If the needle moves too far to the left, it makes you run out of gas before you even know it.

And no seat belts. What if your car goes off the edge of the road and rolls over…. you’d be strapped into it!

How about that one over there with no interior? Less to keep clean.

If Ma will just ignore that little lump in her breast it’ll go away on its own. Sure.A close relative of mine swears she puts off going to the doc because they are always finding something wrong with her. Her husband is no better. 50 years old and won’t have a colonoscopy because he thinks it isn’t manly to have something stuck up his butt. I wonder how much he’ll like an ostomy bag.

Funny, you guys… cos typing it reminded me of someone too….A neighbor and friend….diagnosed with kidney disease in her early 80’s, she refused to have dialysis…because, she told me…. she’d known THREE people who’d had dialysis and they’d all died.

One, whom I also knew, had lived about 10 years on it … but this woman was convinced that dialysis was what eventually killed him… and they weren’t about to put her on it..

My Check Engine light came on once – I checked, and sure enough, there it was!

Yea it’s my turn to have a mammogram and colonoscopy .It isn’t on the top of my want too do list but it must be done. I’d rather they find nothing than not do it and later have something . Ma sure likes to take risks with her car. I see why the dealership doesn’t allow test drives on used cars. You get what you pay for.

Those stupid check engine lights when the car is running fine are a nuisance, especially after you take the car in multiple times, and spend hundreds of dollars and they finally tell you it is a shadow signal ignore it. Go Ma, those yellow check engine lights are a pain in the rear, and the whole family has big rears so that makes it a BIG pain.

At least we have the satisfaction of knowing our cretans are doing a deal at the used car lot and will come out thoroughly reamed. I mean, it’s too bad the salesman will have to be institutionalized for a while, but it’s for the good of all.

I usually buy used cars. Most recent was a 2003 Dodge van with 12,000 miles for $5,400. Perfect second car for hauling. Don’t hafta worry about scratches. It’s pre-scratched… ! ! !

Check engine lights are electrical problems. Cut a 1" strip of black electrical tape, cover the light, and that fixes it.

Check engine light stays on all the time? No problem (unless you need to pass an emission inspection) It’s when its flashing off and on that you should to worry.

I wonder if they will be willing to take the car in trade. If they DO, it will need to have EVERYTHING checked.

Mine is pre-scratched (keyed by a young man who believed that I took HIS space at a supermarket) and I just left that because I only care that it runs well.

I thought I might have to go to chiro (back was hurting yesterday) but had a warm deep bath in Epson and Tea Tree last night, and I’m fine today (still not sure if I can do my crunches yet- where I stopped yesterday because I could not). So I’m off to DMV today because I got glasses yesterday.

check engine.. the dealer did. fond nothing. cost $97.00. for the computer diag. and reset the computer. ?so, the light was malfunction. ?or the computer did not sense the real problem. any way I paid and nothing was fixed/wrong. Will I do that again? fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice shame on me. For $97.00 I learned that it was better to have a live mechanic look at the car and when they said they can not find any thing wrong, they would send you on your way with no charge. Or just wait for the break down and apply the false alarms $97 to the repair bill. gndobie
