Wally: Wow, look at US in a fancy restaurant.
Joan: There is NOTHING on this menu the kids would eat.
Wally: I'm not sure there's anything I would eat.
Joan: What's "locally foraged fare"?
The chanterelle mushrooms this year have been incredible, and if that is what they are referring to as the “locally foraged fare”, my six year old would love to eat there!
We took a couple of grandkids to one of the top-rated restaurants in St. Petersburg, FL, where we were sent as a gift. The food was so frou-frou that I couldn’t enjoy it. I guess the kids managed their frou-frou kids’ hamburgers ok.

Gross. once when I ate at an expensive place the vegetable was listed as ‘sea’ something. It looked like a weed that grew at the side of the road

@Joan+Wally
Why do you think kids wouldn’t eat that expansive crap all those over-priced pretentious restaurants like to call food?!?!

Funny the kids will not eat there and now the adults may not eat there.

I’m betting they end up at a pizza place- happy AND full :)

My husband & I have learned that if they advertise “gourmet” food, we’d be happier eating somewhere else. Probably for less money, too.

Well, before they read the menu, they must have had a flash back to their days in Paris: Freedom and intimacy.

Don’t use the picky kids as a gauge. Honestly, if it’s not mac & cheese or chicken strips, the kids wouldn’t like it.

If they ate at a fancy restaurant in Paris, this place should be a piece-of-cake!PS: Paris, and no pregnancy yet?

They don’t sound very adventurous with food. We have a restaurant that serves locally-sourced food and it’s delicious!
