    In this day and age it’s makes much more sense to just go for the torch. Or, perhaps you are lucky enough to have a coal furnace of a wood stove.

    Margueritem, I have some of the Russian eggs I bought in Moscow. Funny thing is that there they are painted on wood. Lacquered and painted, usually with a Russian Orthodox Church design. They sell the eggs in kits, like we sell model cars. It’s a big pass time over there. And a good way to make money selling souveneirs.

    ~ They need something to keep them occupied during the long, cold winters. ;-) I would love to see the genuine article. All I’ve ever seen are pictures.
