Scruffy seems to be the smarter of the two.On the other hand….I didn’t know you needed reservations to jump off the roof…

I thought you could do it any ol’ time.

actually Scruffy has always been the anxious type:

    As he showed here

    Brian?

    Marg?

    Anybody still here for pie?

I didn’t say Bev cos she squirreled away a whole key lime one.

She knows it’s OK cos she made a zillion (give or take) snickerdoodles.

Hmmm…thanks Red….I wasn’t going to drink cos I’m so sleepy…but ever since I mentioned liqueur it has sounded good…

I usually think they’re too sweet…better for pouring over ice cream.

Oh, I know…little monkeys, could you bring me a bit of Drambuie please?

    Thank you, Red.Cheers!

Ooh! I have not had any Drambuie in years (not sure if I even have some in my stash, but I can tase and smell it as soon as it was mentioned (I am good that way) – being able to experience anything in my mind at the drop of a hat. And with food or drink I can do them quite rapid fire one after another (depending on my familiarity).I see we have more origami pants; I plan one day to do the really high zip line in the eagle conservatory – would not care to try a home-made one tho’. If I don’t have Drambuie, could sub some Amaretto with Scotch mixed (similar). I know I have Benedictine.

There may be some, but I have a big box of almond flour in fron of the booze and don’t want to pull stuff out. With flashlight I saw some Goldwasser, Frangelico, Blue Curacao, Midori and Cointreau- much more back there among the less used stuff ;-D

I have not yet tried the new Midori flavor that Patti Sanger had at a pool party on this week’s show, but easy to imagine as a mix.

Is Scruffy the only one who sees where the zip line ends ? What was Roger thinking ? That’s right ! He doesn’t….Scruffy knows that this won’t end well for either of them.

    Didn’t you guys see it?

I only made about 75 pies…but that still means more than one of each. And I knew Stel liked the lime, so after Bev took one I realised I’d better save one for her, too…Didn’t want to be in trouble!

And of course, there are always a couple of banana cream ones for you-know-who in the fridge…

But they’re gone in no time, so I didn’t want him eating hers next…. especially cos there are no chocolate ones this time.

I’ll have just a virtual Kahlua and Presidente (won’t touch my own bottles). I can enjoy that as easily as other pleasures by virtual means. Fenton, please set me up with that with some icewater on the side!

I also made 16 little muffins that are GF (chopped up a couple of carrots, 1 zuchinni and 1 apple to mix with almond flour and brown rice flour. Added a mess of cinnamon (even tho’ my love thinks I eat too much of that spicy stuff- I’ll ask the dr next time about that) and even though he has a wholistic dr, he wants to just try same diet as me (will be easiest when we’re together). I just have to figure out what I can drink on the plane (now that I won’t have my normal gin). Does not seem that he wants to travel here yet, so I am getting really antzy to travel there. Have to ask my middle son about his free miles and I’ll reward myself with another trip in May or June Hopefully I can have BP below 150 by then ;-DCorrected because it looked like weight (that’s 117).

@Bev, As a mom who put up with the “green vopher guts” talk and all of litttle boys at the dinner table, nothing could spoil my appetite. That was one of the things we spoke of while nest watching at Cornell’s RT Hawks (seeing freshly killed meat torn to bits for the babies). I was fine with watching that while consuming some good grass-fed beef.
