Mornin’ VistaBill. margueritem, and all!I’m pretty sure those bones will tie in with the internment camp murder case. Don’t know how, but…Really enjoying this story, and all it’s sub-plots and characters!

First Sulu and now bones . . . all we need now are Kirk and Spock!

Toad certainly is a cute little “tomboy”, reminds me of a girl who lived next door when I was a kid, when it came to sports, she was WAY better than me, at pretty much any sport you could name… then, at about 14, she hit puberty and got really boring! hahaha (Although, her sexiness quotient increased 10-fold)

Gould had a penchant for pairing his child characters years before they actually got together…. Toad would be perfect for Joseph Tracy ;)

once again, the kid in the tuque looks as if he’s black to me… probably know for sure tomorrow, when the colour comes straight from the Tracy team, rather than GCs

My guess is that Mole is looking at Toad like a daughter :)

Not very smart of Sweatbox or whoever to stuff the bones of one of his victims in a publicly accessible place, right next to a window that could be broken by vandals or severe weather.

Then again, if he was smart he wouldn’t be a criminal in the first place.

Ack, I can’t seem to post an annoucement from Mike Curtis (with appropriate spoiler warnings). I’ve tried about ten times and it doesn’t work. Well, if a whole bunch of similar posts suddenly show up later, at least you’ll know why. :/

You know, I have no problem with the baseball breaking the glass… but, something as light in mass as a baseball shouldn’t have shattered the leaded metal frames

Seems Toad would fit right in with Honeymoon and rest of the strip’s Crimestoppers from the past.

I want to mention one thing here. They are playing softball, not baseball. Softballs are quite a bit bigger and not as hard as a baseball.

Ray, Mike Curtis makes his announcements on a publicly accessible web site. A person doesn’t have to be a member of the Yahoo group to read them. The announcements can be found via google search. There is therefore nothing at all similar to what Mike announces and what is typically transmitted on “a private chat board.”

Ray, Mike has often (not always but often) requested people reading the Yahoo announcements to pass them along to the gocomics group. He has never said or implied anything to the effect that the information he releases is for group members only. He knows Dick Tracy fans talk about his announcements (indeed which is very likely his intent), and if there was anything not intended for public consumption, he would never post it on a publicly accessible site. No one is paying for the information he releases, and no one is restricted from seeing that information. Passing his public announcements along to this group is therefore no different than reading a headline on a news outlet and passing it along to interested parties on another site. There is nothing inappropriate about what I have done, provided appropriate spoiler warnings are included (which I have). You may not prefer that I pass Mike’s announcements along here, and that’s fine. You’re entitled to your opinion. But that’s all it is, an opinion. And while you are entitled to express that opinion, I would sincerely appreciate it if you would stop casting aspersions on activity that is perfectly legal and in no way unseemly, and which frankly is none of your business. Thank you.

who is Joe Tracy??…can someone tell me???

Having been in Law Enforcement for over 25 years, I have seen a number of bodies in different stages of de-comp. I was just pointing out the fact that GoComics colorist made the bones almost the same color as the vault. The bones, not being completely flat, would not have an even covering of dust.

Does anyone remember the strip “Dondi”? The little boy in the cap looks like a dead ringer for the WWII orphan.
