I wish Breathed would update the “current” strip. He could have a lot of fun reviving a few of these strips, updated for the times. He did that going from “Academia Waltz” to the earlier Bloom County strips a bit with Cutter John and Steve Dallas. The last “Bloom County 2019” was printed on this website on June 8 last year…..
Those of us who remember the sixties and the civil rights movement then, are usually struck by how poorly those today understand the times, and how it compares to today.

It seems Steve’s sister’s sorority sister is keeping her priorities straight. /S

Ahhh… 1985, those were the days! Today they would have been mowed down by a Trump supporter…

So, these ladies would be what, late 40s/early 50s now?
Checks out, and Steve was prophetic.

Ah, 1985…the year I got married, and avoided politics like the plague (I STILL do; I vote…but that’s pretty much it.)

This one is new to me. I don’t remember Steve having a sister. Did she appear in other strips?

“This 1985 brand of college radicalism is going to tear the country apart!” And….. it did.

Is this one of those notorious “women in prison” comic strips? —Whoops; did I say “strips”?
