Watching to see it pop after all Bitcoin is only a Bubble hiding in a Cloud .
I’ve met people who actually think that bitcoins have safety nets just like bank accounts. Ain’t no FDIC or anything like it for NFT’s (and those very same folks would never, ever dream of lifting a finger and trying to find out what ’NFT’s’ are so they do kinda deserve it).
It’s all in the imagination, I guess.
This is why I prefer cash on the barrelhead.
LOL Bitcoin IS an imaginary bouncy ball honk honk
I never knews there was Bitcoins in B.C.
I had my doubts, until our 28 yr old son said he took his savings $50k over a yr ago, bot Bitcoin, increased to $700k, sold some, and bot a $400k house. Has 3 bitcoins left he said. Yes he’s single, athletic, a CPA & equity analyst. Available.

So what is backing up bitcoin? I suggest, like some hyperinflated, stocks: greed. It’s second-cousin to a Ponzi scheme.
Or, in simple terms, “yes”.
Bitcoin – the modern iteration of pie in the sky.
I anxiously await the inevitable time of sorrow and pain when people realize the bitcoin is a ponzi scam. There will be much gnashing of teeth and rending of clothes and no few computers killed in the fury. …sad
So, once Bitcoin is gone, this won’t be B.C. anymore? < smirk >
All you’ll get is a stiff neck, methinks.
For a moment there, I thought curls was going to kick him off the cliff.
wouldn’t it be Bitclam?
And in the unpublished fifth panel, the lyrics appear and everyone sings along as they “follow the bouncing ball”! d;o)
How Bitcoin’s vast energy use could burst its bubble
..and i’ll be grumbling, ‘dang, shoulda got in at the ground floor of $55K..!’
