This is merely a transient expression of purgatory.

from my own experience, Dan, if they don’t want to, they won’t – it’s less about being able to remember or not.

Language is about the exchange of ideas, and Amanda seems to have exchanged hers just fine here?

They have one now that can connect to your phone via Bluetooth, and then broadcast your Bluetooth music from your phone to a dead spot on the FM frequencies.

Follow up on the personality questions from the other day. Mine – ENFP, Monica. Not that I’m putting any faith into the accuracy of either, but fun to take anyway :-)

Yep, that’s me at the Apple Store, trying to describe to the poor soul what I need. “You know, the thing that plugs into the thing-a-ma-jig!”

Once, a long time ago, I was describing my confusion to my Quebecois roommate something a man at a Bible study was telling me, who was also French Canadian. He said “I got the ting for da ting” I asked him what he meant and he just kept saying, “The ting for the ting.” Pointing to his hand then his face. My roommate laughed heartily and exclaimed, "We French have a thousand words that mean ‘thing’.’ Meaning, they use the word thing for everything. ..still didn’t help me understand what he meant.
