What are you doing to help the economy? Do you volunteer at any soup kitchens? Do You write any of your politicians. Perhaps our silence in the face of outrageous Republican behavior. There are many candidate for pushing Obama into the ditch including those who block improving road and the infrastructure.

I wonder if Fox news department writers read this and integrate it into some of their own news whows. Good tabloid format!

Give me a break. Lib toonists don’t have to go after Sarah dahling. She just puts herself right in the middle of things and says something amazingly dunb.

It is not that we radicals want to put something more, shall we say, gee whiz, radical in the place of liberal drivel. We just get nauseated at the constant self-congratulatory attitude so many liberals have for accomplishing so little and thinking it is progress. I, for one, have no illusions.

Lay off the lawyers. We don’t sue because the spirit moves us, but because somebody pays us. I personally am sick and tired of paying taxes for the consequences of people’s bad choices: cigarette smoking, serious obesity, not wearing bike or motorcycle helmets (it’s MY choice whether to become dead or a vegetable or have permanent injuries), not wearing their seat belts and so on. Somethings can and should be legislated like helmets and seat belts. Other issues like fast foods and obesity- well, we can only hope information encourages healthier behavior. My grandkids are in perpetual motion, can only watch tv for a limited amount of time each day and are limited as to what they eat at home and how long they can play video games. What happened to the grown-ups? We are still bigger than most of them.

Surely that boy has a friend who files for Freedom of Information Act requests. Got one back once that had only the adjectives readable. Ah, redactibility. Wouldn’t we all like to redact parts of our lives…

I agree with the comment about bait. Why should school be a drag? I taught for many years and if I were losing my students my concern was why should such great stuff feel so boring.

The pictures and what I can understand are bad enough for me. I alternate between being enraged with BP and our government and being incredibly sad.
