Many many decades ago, I had a job in a major retail store. One day they needed help in their gift wrapping department and they ordered me to go. I warned them that it was not a good idea. They told me to go anyway. After the first package they were embarrassed to charge the lady and kicked me out of there. I salute whoever it is that invented gift bags.
Back in my younger days, I worked for a major department store. One day their gift wrap department was slammed so they told me to help. I told them it was a bad idea. They ordered me to do it. After my first attempt they were embarrassed to charge the lady so they kicked me out of gift wrap, never to return.
Whoever invented the gift bag should get a medal. I once worked in a big department store, and one day they needed help in the giftwrap department. I told them I was a terrible wrapper. They ordered me to do it. After my first attempt they were embarrassed to charge the lady and kicked me out of there.
I had a teacher in high school that moved down to jr high, then elementary. When I saw him years later he said it was because the kids were getting more disrespectful as years went by, so he tried teaching the younger ones until he just gave up and retired.
And if you live in Denver, the decorations (mainly the lights) stay up until after the Stock Show.
