Well. That looks like a knowledgeble grin. With a fingerling “shh”. Now where did our Holly get so smart? How will we find out who she was. Obviously not a dummy. I would have expected that Flask would be the one to harrass him about who, what, where, when, why by bullying him. Or is this going to be another surprise. How AM handles HER!I still like him. Good character under a foolish mask.Blessed Be

There he is looking coy. Holly is a wise rodent! Wally is happy to have her. He shows it by listening to her. anyway a gun that shoots valentines is rather nice!I happen to be up late so got to see this early.

Wally’s an engineer. You tell engineers how stuff works so that they can make new machines using that new stuff. You want someone who figures out answers on their own, find a research scientist. Wally’s reference library contains the first 5 volumes of “Dr. Dobb’s Easy Answers”.

Holly is certainly wise She has shown this in times in the past We’re expecting that both of these guys Will agree with the lady quite fast But this Aaron appears rather sly Like he’s got some new thought in his mind Holly has made him smile, but he’ll try To make her think more too, I’m inclined =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum And don’t forget to vote for both For Ursa Major awards!

Holly definitely has a woman’s insight into behavior. Wally is fortunate to have someone like her.

The whole point of knowledge is that it can be passed to those who don’t have it without needing to waste time and incited risk over and over again. There’s too much knowledge in the world to be able to make any progress if you have to start from scratch with every person.

Aaron’ll probably be mentioning the preorders now being taken for the first two Endtown books published by Jarlidium Press of Mukilteo, WA (near my old stomping grounds and home of the great Diamond Knot microbrewery), but I wanted to give a plug for purchasing original storyboards for the strip itself…two consecutive days per bristol board.

I bought the first two Endtown strips from 1/09 last week, and they are SO cool. It’s one thing to read these online, entirely another to have the gen-u-wine item in your own hands. They’re neat to have and buying them helps Aaron keep the cats and mice in his head well-fed. Two thumbs up!

I bought the Endtown strips where Wally chases and catches Holly and they kiss. This is great art.

Okay, Holly, you’ve fooled Mr Marx into a false sense of security. Now, work your way close enough… then kick him in the Dittos and run!

Of course, there are some types of knowledge that can’t be worked out for oneself, at least not safely.Consider… You can learn how to program a computer to do just about anything after you learn the programming language. But… If you want to modify Windows, you need the list of Registry commands, .dll contents, etc. If you try to modify them on a trial and error basis, you just bricked your computer, no matter how well you can program from scratch.

The more I see of Holly (not just where she’s standing around in the frame) the more I fall in love with her. The only problem is I know I’ll never, ever have someone like this in my life. She’s smart, loving, cute, honorable, and is not afraid to stand up for herself. If anyone out there already has a Holly in their life all I can say is, “Hold on tightly to her, treat her right, and show her you love her every day of your life.” If you know of someone like her, but she’s not yours all I can say is, “Dibs!” :-)

I think some of the early comments have confused the kin of knowledge and answers at play here. I don’t think it’s about basic facts, but about questions like “What do you want? Why do this to us?” And Marx could just tell them, but that’s taking him on faith. Instead, Holly is saying more that they need to see what he’s done, what he’s said, how he’s acted, how he hasn’t acted, and deduce from that. Use your brain, then ask pointed questions based on those deductions.

The answer about rodents is that I have had the pleasure of knowing about 15 fine rats! I had them over a period of time and loved each and every one so much. They are about the best apartment pet. Some of them I trusted to free-range in the apartment, one of the last ones wanted to sleep next to me when he was on his last legs. I miss having them terribly, they are clean, affectionate, smart entertaining and lovable! THe boys are big squishes who are lap pets, and the girls run about with so much energy. And, the girls smell slightly of 7up. the boys don’t have any bad odors either. <3=—— ratties!
