Yeah, saw that coming. Dez may be all natural (in every sense of the word), but I can’t imagine her being a pothead. TEAPOThead, sure. but still….

Tiff not buying it Kip is not either.

Bernice as RA shut down Tiff’s dorm nail biz (Tiff as Nails). Bern roomed with Dez. Wouldn’t she have known if Dez was selling? Either way seems unlikely she could openly sell on campus and her personality doesn’t suit the sneaky route, imo.

Call it tea, weed, grass, herb…whatever you like. But in my day we had to pick out the seeds.

Perhaps Dez is into the kava-kava, it has been known to promote relaxation as well as a feeling of well-being and to reduce anxiety. Of course, this does not mean that Dez is not running an on-campus dispensary to earn coin or has a pipeline into peyote and psilocybin based products which are used in numerous spiritually related ceremonies.

The musical, A Chorus Line, had a number called T & A, but that T wasn’t the same tea that Dez is talking about.

I googled it. You can buy it on line. Fenugreek Seed Rooibos Tea Blend Tea Bags. Apparently it helps ease menstrual and menopause problems and has weight loss and breastmilk production benefits. Rooibos is a plant that is native to South Africa.

Kip put on his suspicious face. He doesn’t trust Dez with her bag of strange leaves.

I had no idea what either of those was, so I looked them up.

Rooibos (pronounced ROY-boss) is used for making herbal tea. Fenugreek is a common ingredient in Indian dishes. It is also used in traditional medicine, but carries a risk of allergic reaction. Its use in food in small quantities is safe.

Fenugreek! I was just looking at the ingredients of some pickled lime acar, and there was fenugreek.Awesome stuff.

Every time I think Dez can’t be any better than she is, she does something absolutely wonderful. What a nice thought to give sachets of scented herbs to help friends relax. I would like to try how good the herbal teas prepared with her own blend taste. I hope Tiffany, Kip, and Dez can start drinking tea together and talk about everything, not just about how obnoxious and childish Stef is.

I have been trying to submit a perfectly innocuous substantive comment, but each time it has been blocked with the warning: “Hold on. Your comment includes word(s) on our banned list. Please edit your message and try again.” No amount of repeated attempts at editing has succeeded. Can I obtain a list of banned words from which I might identify what is triggering the automatic censor?

Yeah, but where’d she get the cash? The tea is a hilarious misdirection play.

Why is Stef and Kip going on the defensive? Dez is obviously into potpourri and nothing more dangerous than a good smell.

Maybe Dez will “infuse” some spirit into the Luannverse!

Cops once found a “tea pad” in a partially-finished building. Some old mattresses strewn around, and LOTS of cigarette butts with “odd smells”. Ew!

Dez could probably make a fortune with a proper blend of that stuff: Rooibos, an herbal caffeine free tea blended with the pleasant tasting, clover like herb fenugreen which has been used both in cooking and as a medicine. Then again maybe she already has, given that she just flushed $600 down the toilet.

These two are acting like they’ve never seen a bag of weed before. Quick Tiff! Call the “Fuzz”. 4:20 in progress!

Please, is already embarassing that you, English speakers, call things like roiboos “herbal tea”: don’t omit herbal, at least. Tea is only camelia sinenis.

Has Dez EVER been shown to use or sell any drugs? It is often implied but I don’t recall her ever having any recreational drugs.

Did anyone really expect Dez to be dealing Cannabis? Can you imagine one person trying to compete with the legal Cannabis dispensaries, even if she limited her “market” to just the Moony U campus?

You see, she’s a hippie, so obviously it’s marijuana! Funny funny funny!

Dez is very laid back about all this. And she is correct that the universe is filled with abundance.

I think it may be time they gave us more of a back story about Dez.

Fenugreek is frequently used in Indian food dishes. Not sure I’d want it in a tea.

Relax, Tiffany and Kip! It really is only tea. Remember back when Berniece jumped to the same wrong conclusions that Dez was using drugs. Turns out she was very wrong.

Giving away money will always make you popular. Now Dez is going to attract everyone on campus with a “deserving cause”.

Next we’ll see Dez, Tif and Kip sitting around the table drinking tea…and they’ll stay there through the end of the week!

How disappointing. Dez is obviously a very nice lady. There’s no indication that her tea is pot, although it needs to be in a pot to brew. A very mellow lady who wants to help fellow students to chill. I can’t believe Tiffany’s snarky remarks. Just when I have hope that she’s maturing she acts so poorly yesterday and today.

Goodness. Earth Mother makes so much money selling tea she can throw away $600 on a whim. That tea is messing with her brain, or what’s left of it.

Tea consumption has increased worldwide. Herbals are a big business. You can get many more cups per pound of tea than coffee and different varieties have beneficial properties. Some just taste good. With the cost of meds, often people turn to ayurvetic and traditional remedies. Even conventional doctors are recommending them.

I drank tea. In college, in nursing school, as a nurse, and as a teacher. I didn’t drink coffee until I retired.

So… Dez is an apothecary?

My daughter has become a melatonin dealer…she doesn’t charge though. Helps her dorm mates sleep better!
