I am sick of this story arc. So far dull and boring.

ooh i like this! wouldn’t want to mess with Bets!!! Stef is no match for this one!!! showdown, everyone! Though Stef may yet pull some stuff out of her hat, she’s a meanie, she is. both villains here.

So, social media DID come between them. Wow this arc is so like real life. Next question, will these two let social media be the third in their relationhip, or will Bets decide to have a career with her gig? A valid decision for her to make.

Somehow this story line is so stupid! So it’s all her fault that she followed her dream? And now realizes she’s jealous? Ugh.

Yes being a teenager is hard, but sending a message that following your dream is all your fault is… idk not the best message unless she realizes she never shoulde have broken up and followed her dream. Ikd very confusing. I think she’s just jealous.

Here we see: Social media is or at least can be poison to teens… hard enough already without the endless possibitilities for shaming, misunderstanding, and more.

Pretty sure Bets is looking for clicks to save her failing social media site.

Live by the Internet, die by the internet. This will be great for her ratings, which is all she cares about. The “breakup” online will last a month and she’ll video the whole thing. Disgusting and yet this may be how teens live today. Not like we did, before fame become more important than friendship, decency and love.

Bets is 100% Narcissist. So we can guess what to predict.

Background, though. Bets and Gun went separate ways. Gun is finally going out and having fun, no more, no less. She cut off contact it appears.

Only a narcissist would resent him having “a life” and not happily support his new single ways. Sure, some pain, but they made their choices.

At best, Bets can at least inquire – what’s new, folks?

If she freaks/jealous rage/etc/ – just more yuk from her. I hope the writers of this strip can make her more interesting but then again this is a comic.

I would love to see her behave like a "normal’ teen, (ups and downs, give and take, etc) … but not likely. It will always be about Bets. That said, she has given Gun a good ride. Narcissists can do that until they dump you like a used rag.

Narcissists like Bets don’t understand “breaking up” with them. Or that they would survive without you. She will not process Gun being with someone else very well, if at all, even if LuAnn is just a platonic “thing”.

This may be the event that opens Gun’s eyes to how he has been being used, even if he liked being used… for a while. It gets old.

Gun still pangs for Bets, it’s clear. And Luann and Gun would be a disaster. Full stop.
