By their very nature, opinions are always subjective. Only facts are objective.

Don’t worry, dear, from your looks, you’ll always get the benefit of the doubt.

I’m guessing that “this point” is subjective as well.

That’s what happens when respect for self, others, and the law is no longer taught. Social decline into anarchy is tough.

Ed is dressed for success in a style from an earlier time. Muriel has the right idea: dress for comfort and have a nice hot cup of coffee handy.

“Laws are subjectively enforced beyond this point.”

On what do they predicate that conclusion?

A good example is sexual harassment law.

When sexual harassment was defined as using authority to coerce sex or, not as bad but still objectionable, providing preferential treatment in return for sex, this was measurable, definable, and objectively provable, and therefore made good law.

Now sexual harassment is loosely defined as “whatever makes someone uncomfortable”, which is absolutely subjective, not measurable, impossible to prove (or disprove) and so very bad law.

Have a nice day, subjectively speaking.
