More frightening than Trump are the voters who support his offensive, abrasive behavior and policies that attack the poor, the immigrants, and those whose ancestors were not from Europe. The founders were well aware of the dangers of political parties and theocracies and gave us a framework that would not just tolerate differences of origin and religion, but allow us to thrive by supporting each other’s differences. If there are voters, with no love for the constitution, who wish to turn America into a non-diverse, monolithic, theocracy (in name but not practice) we may be doomed to a long succession of Trump-like “leaders” who cannot unify but only divide more and more factions against each other.
Philip K. Dick: “Because today we live in a society in which spurious realities are manufactured by the media, by governments, by big corporations, by religious groups, political groups…increasingly, we are bombarded with pseudo-realities manufactured by very sophisticated electronic mechanisms…And this is an astounding power: that of creating whole universes, universes of the mind. I ought to know I do the same thing.”

Too late! Something really bad has already happened to our country: Trump! Need I say more?

WE ARE AFFRIGHTED – {rhyme}
Trump is to threatenings addictive,
but sometimes his threats are predictive, -
- so he has us affrighted
that if he’s indicted
he’ll react in a manner vindictive.

“DON’T stop the Mueller probe if you don’t want something bad to happen to your nice country!” Namely Trump continuing to sell us out to the Russians.

MISFORTUNE HUMONGOUS – {limerick}
Unfortunate fates have flung us
to a swamp where Trumpites among us
use rabbit punches
then eat our lunches.
It’s a tragedy quite humungous*.

{Off the cartoon’s topic:}
YOU’RE A NATION – {rhyme}
He meant in his SOTU that “You’re a nation
upon which I’m spraying quite yuuge urination.”
Trump intends to be helping the rich
to steal the clothes off our backs, every stitch.
And yet his fan-club they clapped in ovation!!

Inspired by the Old_Curmudgeon:
There once was a nice little memo
That congress released, no problemo
But it’s chock full of lies
That Trumpikin buys
So impeachment will be his memento

Remember the Good Ol’ Days when attacks on the FBI came from the Left? Strange days indeed.
Seems this administration lives by the dictum “F—- your friends, because your enemies won’t let you.”

There will be a ceremoney.
There will be no signing, because Trump thinks all the deaf are dumb.
