Oh the USA still has allies, but I think that the allegience will be purely transactional with this administration. Most deals with the US are already one sided as they are, if your country wishes to make them even more so then they will not be agreed to.

    DANGER ON MUELLER’S PATH – {limerick}

    There’s danger on Mueller’s path: -

    - our vengeful president’s wrath.

    Trump’s sociopathic,

    warpathic, bloodbathic,

with the fury that a scorned woman hath.

I can’t think of a business that would not have fired an incompetent person , in a management role, clearly breaking law and tradition, after this length of time. Too bad we don’t have a mechanism to correct the problem.

I think everyone halfway aware should have realized that very wealthy people actually belong to a Transnational entity that owes no solid allegiance to traditional nations. And politicians are ticks in the gilded hide. One day the oligarchs and their pet plutocrats will go into orbit and rule from above like the ancient gods from castles in the air. How many stories have, since the ancient myths, had that theme?

While Trump was giving his ugly and stupid speech before the U.N., Kelly was holding his face in his hands in embarrassment. Thanks Republicans!

Still investigating the curious questions of Russian / Trump Campaign contacts before, during, and after the election. And of course, Don Trump, Jr’s admission (“If it’s what you say, I love it, especially later in the summer.”) and email evidence.

“Donald Trump Jr. agreed (to meet with ‘The Russian government lawyer’), adding that he would most likely bring along “Paul Manafort (campaign boss)” and “my brother-in-law,” Jared Kushner, now one of the president’s closest White House advisers.

Funny thing about some crimes… Sex with an underage boy / girl, terrorist bomb making, espionage, and treason only require the intent and related action(s) to commit the crime. Don Jr provided the email evidence. (And it doesn’t matter in the least if he didn’t know it was a crime.)

I wonder… (Purely hypothetically speaking, of course.) If certain government congressmen, say the fake names: Raul Pyan and Nitch NcConnell were on the security committees that are fully aware of Russian interference and the russian buying of a certain parties campaign ads…

Would those politicians be considered “Accessories Before / After The Fact”?

    ’Tis a puzzlement….

From Kurt Bardella, in a column for the Los Angeles Times: For years, I worked with congressional Republicans on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to vigorously police Barack Obama’s presidency.

We attacked the Obama administration with speed and enthusiasm. No corner of the federal government was safe from our scrutiny. Any appearance of impropriety was thoroughly investigated. Like a mantra, we spoke out about the need to hold the executive branch accountable.

Flash forward to 2017: Under the Trump administration and an even larger congressional majority, oversight Republicans are completely MIA. What happened to their bravado and self-righteousness in holding the president to the highest possible standard of ethical scrutiny

A new report from Bloomberg reveals how President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior White House adviser, Jared Kushner, is on a desperate “hunt for cash” to address “hundreds of millions of dollars” his family’s real estate business owes on a “41-story office building on Fifth Avenue.”The mortgage on the building is due in just 18 months. And Kushner’s “hunt for cash” appears to be an international one, shaking the money trees in South Korea, France, Israel, China, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. At the same time, The Washington Post reports he has been playing the role of “shadow diplomat,” becoming the “primary point of contact for presidents, ministers, ambassadors from more than two dozen countries … in Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region.”

In June, when Kushner, who has zero diplomatic and foreign policy experience, traveled to the Middle East to pursue a peace deal between the Israelis and the Palestinians, it is conceivable that he was simultaneously furthering his “hunt for cash.”

Remember when candidate Trump accused Hillary Clinton of running a “vast criminal enterprise” out of the State Department?

[continued] Well, Mr. President, what in the world would you call what your daughter’s husband is doing right now from inside the West Wing? At best, it’s a conflict of interest. At worst, it’s an invitation for bribery.

Either way, it is beyond inappropriate for Kushner to continue working inside the West Wing and on the federal government payroll. He may be using his position and proximity to the president to gain access to high-profile, international money men in the hopes that they’ll cut him and his family a hundred-million-dollar check.

What strings do you think that check would come with, and does anybody really believe those strings align with the best interests of the United States of America? Keep in mind, Kushner still has a security clearance.

Some thoughts of past Endeavors come to mind with names like the " teapot scandal". Hmmmmm?? Were there not scandals of offices sold for money buy those close to heads of government “Favors for sale”. I’m getting very absent-minded in my old age but I’m quite sure that there were a great many hush hush deals that involved the sale of defense budget contracts. With the raise in our new budget defense spending that would make a great deal of sense. Sell off new defense spending contracts, you could raise a lot of money that way.

FREE and FAIR elections: Join the fight to repeal Citizens United. Repealing this law must be the first step to restore our democracy. As long as politicians continue to be bought and paid for by Big Money, there is no hope for USA. And we need to remember when nations of the world rose up together to defeat the Nazi empire under Hitler, that out-of-control megalomaniac. The billionaire families that funded Hitler are now funding our government, and our world wide military machine. And profiting, always profiting.
