Et tu, Democrats. Look at that “poor” elephant. Little Donnie Johnnie doesn’t bother with stabbing them in the back. He’s just as happy stabbing them in the front.
A whole lot of progress could be made in this way. There are moderate Republicans who would be willing to go along with some of the same things that would be acceptable to Democrats. An example would be Single Payer insurance, which is what the Democrats have been trying to get since FDR. Trump is too dumb to know what he’s signing, as long as he thinks it makes people like him.
Well, however much disaster our Supreme Leader is sowing over all the rest of society, you have to grant that he’s been a godsend for editorial cartoonists.
My favorite part of the ’toon is the little note in the corner: “He assumes everybody is amoral and stupid.” We all do this, we read other people according to what we are inside. So honest people default to the assumption that others are honest until proven otherwise. People who are dishonest, greedy, manipulative, whatever, assume everyone else is the same. One difference: they never do learn that others are different; they just treat them as patsies.

The only cooperation should be to impeach him.

Toles is cleverly very insightful, eh what?
KNEELING then REELING – {a limerick} {extra points that all five lines rhyme}
The consequences aren’t appealing
when with-The-Donald you’re dealing.
At first you’re kneeling,
but soon you’re reeling
then squealing, – then over you’re keeling.

NOT a KING MIDAS – {a limerick and an image}
He’s no King Midas when he touches: -
- Whatever Trump holds in his clutches
turns fecally rank.
Yuuge is its stank.
EVERYthing The Donald besmutches.

First get vaccinated. Against EVERYTHING! Then, wash your hands. Then put on hospital grade gloves. Repeat. THEN say NO!

SILLY – {a limerick and a footnote}
“Silly” is my middle name.
No profundities do I claim
in rhyming thus
‘bout Trumpism’s muss*
as he plays out his silly game.
… {• “Muss” = disorderly confusions
of a megalomaniac’s delusions.}

My family always warned me to be wary of the people who used the phrases “Trust me” and/or “No problem, I’ll take care of it”.

I don’t think tRump has contributed one iota of ideas to anything. He just tells a lackey “Go fix this” and its on them. He’s clueless.

“He assumes everybody is amoral and stupid.”.Not everybody, but far too many. It seems to have worked for him in the past.
