Looks like she buys Skippy brand peanut butter.

I Cute! But I wouldn’t have dared do something like that. My kids would have decided that peanut butter was an art supply.

Not only does it mark her territory, but she’ll be able to tell if anyone else gets into the peanut butter.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen peanut butter quite that colour.

I’m a Jif man, myself. Extra crunchy. With honey.

I was brought up on Skippy. Dad liked the Crunchy kind but my brother and I favored the Smooth, so Mom always wound up buying both to keep peace in the family.

Dad put peanut butter on everything. I inherited that from him. .

I have gotten used to and have grown to like the crema de mani ( peanut butter ) made down here although it is terribly expensive. A 490 g. jar is over $9 ! The good thing though, is that is doesn’t have all the sugar and additive of it’s North American counterpart.

    .

Still, every time I’ve gone back to the States, I’ve returned with a couple of the really large jars of Jiff tucked in my luggage just to satisfy my nostalgia cravings.

Perhaps that’s why I don’t eat peanut butter (in either case).

Better that she marks her territory that way rather than some other way. (PTOOEY!)

I actually prefer Skippy “chunky” peanut butter, but it has a tendency towards tearing the bread up as I try to spread it around, so I end up buying “creamy” instead.

Actually, I think if I had 3 peanut butter sandwiches, one with Jif, one with Skippy and one with a generic store brand, I would not be able to identify which is which. I buy Jif, but Skippy is just as good as far as I’m concerned. But maybe I ougt to buy the store brand since I can’t tell the difference.

I have always preferred the smooth Peanut Butter. Everybody else seems to prefer the Chunky.

The first time I saw peanut butter in French (in a part of Canada in which French was the eighth most common first language) it looked like “spider butter” (beurre d’arachide).

I must be the only person around who can say " I do not like peanut butter " in any form, cookies, on toast or in a PB&J.

“I’m lucky I don’t have a dog. Dogs in our neighborhood mark their territory by doing their business.”

    .

A chihuahua marks his height and presence on a truck tire.

The height of the urine indicates the size of the dog.

The owner drives the truck and when he stops, the mark on the tire is upside down, making it look like the chihuahua shot much higher and was much bigger.

Another dog comes up to sniff the mark.

He knows the smell of assorted breeds and that this mark was made by a chihuahua.

It is fun to see the look of shock on the bigger dog when he concludes there is a monster chihuahua near.

I grew up in the 1940’s and we took our lunches to school all the time and never heard of peanut butter sandwiches. I wonder was peanut butter not available after WWII? Wish they had been as we had egg salad sandwiches and other culinary delights. Blech

I mark a new jar of peanut butter w/ a vagina design. It’s a virgin jar when first opened.
