Actually, someone made up some fake Trump advertisements, and this was one of the ideas. The focus group actually rationalized it as a good idea.

I propose that every non-American in the world be forced to wear a shock collar that will go off if they try to enter our countryThe Pokanoket Indians really wish they had thought of that idea.

I don’t like to disparage Trump. (Too easy.) But this is worth watching. (Maybe not the whole thing, but enough to get the point.)

The collar thing was done on an episode of the old “Star Trek”

And how is your proposal not “stupid, costly, and impractical,” candidate Rat?Politicians are all the same. Choice is the Opium of the Masses, a delusion, a magician’s trick to mollify the sheep as they are led to the slaughter….

That’s way too expensive. I have a better idea: We’ll insert tiny metallic capsules with tracking information, under the guise of a global smallpox vaccination program, which secretly also contains a vaccine for an alien virus. When it turns out that we’re unable to accomplish the first goal, we’ll then unleash that alien virus through bees, allowing just Americans to survive the alien virus.

You know what? That’s too much work. We’ll just spread false information about a zombie virus that is spreading in the US.

It IS a depressing election. Fortunately, there’s one rational, honest, decent human being running for President: Gary Johnson. And despite running on the Libertarian ticket, he’s running on a moderate, fiscally conservative, socially tolerant platform.

Hey maybe they could make a contribution to a certain foundation and get them to get Rat a contract on supplying the collars. But at this point what does it matter? But for the interested who aren’t foaming at the mouth already: Sisyphos is correct. Can we all chant together…New World Order, New World Order….

The sad thing is that if Orange Boy actually proposed that, his sycophants would swear it was a great idea.

Sigh Ever since 1988 when George H.W. Bush ran against Mike Dukakis, each election cycle has gotten progressively worse. Bush invoked the name Willie Horton to attack Dukakis on law and order. Dukakis was too nice to respond in kind. Now, it’s come to this. Trump and his minions/apologists vs. Clinton and hers. We have met the enemy, and it is us.

If the wall is too costly, why not have it built by underpaid illegal immigrants? I’m sure they’d build it well, right down to the hidden doors.

I’m sure rat already has these collars ready for sale (made in China no doubt) should he be elected. A grant from a certain foundation would subsidized his company, but no emails for orders please.

The Republicans should have nominated Rat for President. He’s a far better choice in that he’s clever and innovative as well as having all Trump’s ?capabilities?……

Pastis—STOP with ANY politics in the strip. You’re a cartoonist, not a commentator. And if you don’t know the difference between the two, you will find out when serious fans of the funnies, like me, FIRE YOUR BUTT. Yeah, you are the hired help and I am your employer and you keep this up, and the strip is off my daily reading lineup. Think about it: we are your customers, and if you keep it up, we will stop buying at your store. And that spells “out of business.”

Got it? Don’t be a jerk.
