Andy surely knows how to test the police officers’ patience (as well as everybody else around him).

Something about having the right to remain silent and self-incrimination…

Would that qualify in the UK as a “statement against interest”? Here in the colonies, I believe that would be seen as a confession. Whatever, funny strip today. The cops’ expressions are priceless.

A scene from “Law & Order: UK”. There really is such a show. Not bad, even if the scripts are recycled from the American original identified each episode. But those wigs are just so idiotic.

Andy just doesn’t get that whole “self incrimination” thing…

Sometimes he doesn’t even have to say a word…

Andy loves to talk about himself, he just can’t remember certain things…..like the locations of canals, what activities led up to falling into those strangely mobile canals, and like that.

Glad I ‘hit the mark’. Barbara (Jo) will run the band member names off like she always does.-You bring politics to A.C. ! Why I’m appalled…. if I could find them. Hey, you helped get the ball rolling on the reCapps. We wouldn’t get much ‘mileage’ or ‘traction’ here without ‘em !-If I was a traditional turkey day guy I would spread that jam on the rolls and anywhere I think apropo. Good Thursday on you !-It stopped raining for awhile but has turned back on. Coming down pretty bad good too ! I haven’t looked, but I bet Baseline res, across the street, will be running higher than it has been for some time.-Now that you’re all growed up, you need a song !-Tell Chalkie j he can find me at the high water mark.

I have a feeling that Chalkie J may already know… -I used to love posting the Smythe classics but soon more and more people started to do it and I just decided to ‘retire’ as I had been doing it for long enough. -I’m always glad when it rains. I don’t mind being out when it’s raining lightly but when it lashes down… Well that’s another story!-I looked at your ‘canal photos’ and I really like them. You have a nice collection. I don’t just mean those photos but all the other ones in your gallery too.-Thank you so much for that song. I enjoyed it very much. The instrumental break somewhere near the middle was pretty cool.-Happy Friday to you! May it be pleasant and very LUCKY!

Re link:.Now that’s what I call wet. If that was the UK all the people who buy houses on flood plains would expect the authorities to “do something”. This is why I always choose to live above the flood level.

I Can Huxley Believe-it DeptIt STILL doesn’t have correct meter, Doork. what’s so hard to perceive about “Wet Scenes Inside This Trove, Mine”?!? stop listening to other voices . . . these strange Dais might be time fer you to check-into a Motel in Morrison [CO], and try waiting for the Sun. don’t count on loving no L.A. woman two times or any soft parade. . . . . You need to-go full circle. Just don’t expose yerself too-much, ’n leave Miami to the James Gang.

Hope you don’t mind, but I sneaked a peek at the bunnies. Awwww, life for them is so fragile, that we only have a moment to enjoy them. Our resident rabbit is growing big, what with the carrot tops and leftover produce we leave out for him. (under a bush in the corner of the yard) We have 5 Cooper’s Hawks who play “Top Gun” every afternoon, and I don’t want them to see him (or her) Got a message from my daughter in Colorado saying that they are ok, n my Grandson at UofC is ok too. Phew!

I am so glad that our friend, the ghost of Gweedo, is ok. We had our biblical rains earlier this summer. I heard on the TV today that the next county up is set to receive around 25-30 million for damages to roads and bridges. Here in my county we had it just as bad from several storms, if not worse. But theirs all came on a single storm on a Saturday morn. It rained about 6-8 hours and 8-12 inches that one morning. I saw the news video of the rain in Colorado. Hope all of y’all are well but glad to know my friends are. My friend in Colorado Springs was all packed and ready to go but the fire turned and saved him.

@John PikeIt seems like I got out of the States in time. If I hadn’t moved down here to Ecuador, Plan C ( there was no Plan B ) was to move back out west to the Colorado Springs area. Glad I didn’t – for many reasons. All my friends in Florida are turning mildewed and moldy ( some of them were that way already ) due to all the rain they’ve had.I’m just glad all my friends and acquaintances are safe and sound. As for the relatives… ah, well. ( Just kiddin’ cousins ! ) [ not ] Have a good night John. See you at the turn.
