This reply is not just to Bacon Boy, but all of you. Thank you for lovingly remembering my Mom, and extending that care and gentility of spirit to me as well. I really didnt know how much I unloaded on all of you until I came back today and read my comment. Thank you for your kind words & for remembering my Mama with the kindness and joy that she reflected right back at the world. Dang, I am verklempt again! I gotta stop writing or I am going to be a puddle. Have a great Caturday night & a Blessed Sunday!

My mom taught me to love the Stones, (and others like the Lovin Spoonful) and actually thats the song that popped into my mind. I tend to think in song lyrics outside of work. If I may interject a note of political comment, the right is correct, learn to code. When your alternative rock bands fades into a distant memory, you can always get a job! I was lucky and got one that allows me to think in song lyrics. Yes, I have spewed a few in staff meetings when appropriate. Maybe its just that geeks appreciate other geeks foibles?

For real, I am going to start using it!I can imagine the work place meeting, standing up & saying, “We need to Lupinette this. Turn it completely around and begin the new coding at the top of the old, to implement its reversal.” They will understand and the phrase Lupinette will go back to the home office in Chicago, where it will spread across the land!

CEDAR POINT is awesome!! Rock n Roll Hall of fame is what I would suggest also! Cleveland also has some terrific barbeque joints. And they have river steamers with dinner cruises that are fun.

Shirins, I had to explain to my wife who Nushi was when I started adding her to our evening, before bed prayer time. Last wednesday she reminded God herself that Nushi needs his love and protections as I inadvertently left her out of my half of our prayers. This is yet another reason I love the woman who shares my life, and has given me the two greatest gifts a woman can give a man. ( our 2 boys) So happy to hear Nushi is improving and we will continue to pray for her improvement and for you to have the strength to do what must be done for Nushi. God Bless You.

Stuff like this is why I read this comics comments…like others have said, it gets messy and mean. This one i admit, I read the first pages comments (usually first comment and the replies to it. While time prevents me from responding usually, sometimes its just too sad, so I try to gloss over it. I have lost many members of my family lately, and I refuse to add to the sadness in the world, so I keep it to myself. BUT, if I EVER NEED positivity and love in my life, I know that I can come here and lay it out for you and I will receive nothing but kindness, "gent"ility, and positive reinforcement or helpful suggestions, all lovingly given. I cant read Ten Cats, I just cant make myself go there. Mom loved those cats and that little girl so much, she sponsored a cat shelter in Chicago and here in MN she volunteered at the humane society and financially contributed as well. She pretty much used up my inheritance, but then she knew I didnt need it. She adored animals and looked for the best in people. She found both at 10 Cats and had just started loving this family of Lupin, Puck, her favorite comic Siamese you cannot please, Georgia, the man, the toddle and the baby and made sure I had it bookmarked. I miss her, but you guys remind me so much of her, that sometimes I come just to hear your comments in her voice. She had that Texas drawl and cats came out as two syllables, damn, I miss hearing her voice and laughter. Man, she was funny, and had a laugh that made everyone around her laugh or at least smile. Sorry, didnt know I was missing her so much today. Just wanted to say that all of you are wonderful people and while I dont comment much, I read them, appreciate them and all of you & Georgia, rock!(if there are spelling & grammatical errors, they are purely my own due to my wife cutting onions or this cheap blurry monitor)
