I would be interested to know exactly why some people on here consider anybody who makes innocuous comments about their non-strip related inane chat to be a troll. Prof danglais and Quartermain Miller have made no personal or abusive comments, yet they get referred to as trolls. The regulars on here who use this as their own personal chat forum are by far and away more abusive than other users.

Like your take on the strip. Sometimes there is such a thing as too much honesty. Now for my honesty – anyone who doesn’t like the comments on this site does NOT have to read them. Can we just stop with all the complaining – that’s what I get tired of.

Today’s “Pearls” has a a very funny take on the dangers of complete honesty. And Mikeyj’s redo of today’s “Andy” is much better than the original. Andy simply isn’t in character in the original. He would bop both Flo and the counselor before he would let either one call him a drunken bum or even listen to somebody call him one in public.

looks like the grammar police MikeyJ got ya today..lol… don’t worry it’s only a misdemeanor^^I wasn’t “Policing” anyone, I just thought I’d mention his little error so he could avoid embarrassment next time… believe me, if there was a way to send a private message, I’d have preferred to do it that way.

They just use this as their own personal web site to converse, must have dull lives….lol.. I like to read the comments about the strip myself and just bypass the regulars, they really never have nothing to say pertaining to the strip, their the trolls not you.^^I’ve taken the time to read the rules, not only is there nothing that says you HAVE to comment on the strip, but, they know people talk about other things, and, so long as there’s no fighting going on, they haven’t any problem with it! Think about what it would be like if everyone just talked about the strip : "Todays strip was…. good, bad, boring, Andy is bad, Flo is good…yawn!Personally I mostly comment on the strip, or tear it down and rebuild it, but, on occasion I join the group when the conversation interests me, and you have the same option, so, lighten up and let others enjoy.

‘Drunken Bum’? If I were his wife I could call him a lot worse!I’ve never saw them at the Marriage Guidance for quite a while. The locations have mostly been the pub, the football pitch or at home.xxx

They like them fine, Three. They gave the second one [lawn lights] to Bob & Darlene (their boy and his wife), who live next door. She sent a mail to say Thanks. Gretchen got one and likes it too ! Ron gave his to his lady friend, Maryann. I heard that she is enjoying it.

My two cents on the troll debate: If Affy has the right to post all of his stuff, the Prof has the right to whine and complain about it. I’m not interested in either, so I just scroll right past.

How to deal with trolls:

I must have missed something. I don’t remember QM saying anything the least bit offensive. Perhaps there was some misunderstanding. Personally I like the guy. Hang in there QM!
