Uh… the only things Andy picks up are pints of ale, pool cues and gambling tickets.

My grandmother made dumplings like that! They’d have made good boat anchors!

The recipe called for a brick oven, but the page was torn.

@Susan NewmanHaha. When I saw ‘faces’, I immediately thought of the many faces Lucy would make when things went south. I just figured you had adopted a new look for a crumby situation.

I’m sure Andy will be a great help in picking it up for you, Flo.

Just brace yourself for a sarky comment and insult.

    LOL xxx

I would take that as a No, Flo.

    A big no-no at that!

Gweedo Murray said, about 14 hours ago

We went over to Lafayette and met the lady at the office, did some discussion and then she showed us the model apartment. Gina was pleased! Afterward I had to do some food shopping; so we went in, where she grabbed a few things as well.

I used to link back before the comix titans merger (this one and comics.com). Since that time changes were made in how we do these things.

The only real bugger is that they cut the Edit function. I miss not being able to correct misspells and rejiggering goofy content.

Did little lady Katy go kaboom !? – re the fireworks______________________________________________

    LOL… You could say that.

I’ve been a GoComics member for 2 years now. I wasn’t a member for very long when they decided to get rid of the Edit Function… I had also found it very useful and I (and many others) would love to have it back.

I hate copy and pasting a huge amount of text to correct spelling errors/typos and then repost it again.

What do you say we all sign a petition to get it back, huh? LOL.

I must have only joined right after the merger.

I am glad Gina liked the apartment… I’m sure it’s very nice.

I hope you’re doing fine and that the weather is nice for you.

Bread isn’t the only thing that Flo cooks that has a bit of weight to it.

Usually the punch line to this kind of gag is having the baked item crash clear through the floor. (Probably there are a few examples of that in the classics!)

Sorry, I meant that we should make up a petition and we at GoComics who miss the Edit feature should sign it.

My day was ‘Ducky’ Thank you.

How is yours going… Keeping busy?

Don’t know if “Dad’s Army” will seem the same to some one in the US. I might be wrong. It seems dated to most of us, now.

A bit like Dwarf Bread, if any Terry Pratchett fans are reading this.

Perhaps a small second hand forklift would be a good investment.

    Where is Linda today?

*HI GWEEDO, and everybody. I think Flo needs to go to cooking school if her bread is as heavy as an anvil.

Linda just checking in on you! I would expect you would be very tired after all that you went through. Goofing off is fun too! I hope you are feeling better each day!

Yes, though I don’t know Beviek as well as some of you, we do post at some of the same comics and I do notice her abscence. I hope she is having fun! I enjoy my vacations or short weekend trips as well.
