Uh… the only things Andy picks up are pints of ale, pool cues and gambling tickets.

Aye …Flo was working on an attempt to duplicate the density of a Neutron star center……Looks like ,this time, she’s gotten closer than her previous attempt.

My grandmother made dumplings like that! They’d have made good boat anchors!

By the way, thanks for the reference to Dad’s Army. It’s one of my favorites too. I didn’t know it was on youtube.

My favourite character was Private Walker (played by James Beck). He tragically died in his early 40’s just as they’d started recording the radio series. His character was continued for radio by mimics but he was replaced in the tv series by a Welsh newspaper photographer. John Laurie couldn’t get on with him, so he only lasted one series

I have almost all of the series that I recorded off of our PBS TV stations on VHS tape many years ago when it was shown over here. And it lost a lot when ‘sharpie’ Private Walker disappeared.
My second favorite series was “The Two Ronnies”. I’ve got most of them that were shown here by the one PBS station that had guts enough to show the series.

Sweet.
It’s always nice (don’t you think?) when we see James Beck always included in the last sequence when the titles have gone up!

Right off hand I don’t remember if they took him off the credits when he died or not. (Sneaking a cigarette while he marched along.)
