Last panel: That is the expression of a human who has never really thought about where her non-vegetarian food comes from. Nor, presumably, cared about how it was raised and under what condition it lived and was killed before ending up in the store.

Granny (“Beverley Hillbillies”) liked smoked crawdads. Which confused the heck out of some hippies when she invited them to smoke some with her!

I’m a hero! It can get lonely as you get older, but I have a goddaughter who is like a daughter. My family cut back, and with overkill. Of my two siblings and me, no biological offspring. (Down from a family of 17 kids three generations ago.— and my parents had only three siblings between them, with one of them childless.)

Laws should be made to cut back the human population not only for the good of the planet for humanity’s own good.

We do, it’s called the Affordable Care Act. aka Obamacare. It’ll kill off plenty of us.

My aunt had five children; my mother had two children; I had one child; my son has none (biologically speaking). Actually, I wish I could have had more… If you can afford it, have as many as you wish. If not, there’s always birth control… ;)

I’m a hero, to my 10 kids. Kidding, I only have two. I would like to think I have their undying love and respect, they certainly have mine.

Étouffée sounds like a Louisiana version of chemeen biryani (with crayfish substituted for the prawn — which is what “chemeen” means in Malayalam). Do crayfish taste somewhat like freshwater crab?
