I think a song about birds, surface tension, tacos and friendship is enough inspiration for one song already.

I wrote some poems for those contests (do they still have those?) and my muse got miffed and up and left me.

I found the block! And I can feel the inspiration! An idea is starting to form… “A light-hearted musical play about nine-elev—” DANG IT!

Hmm. Perhaps that would explain the Coffee Grinds People of Mongo popping up in the project I’m currently working on (which has nothing to do with wicked dregs or anything sci-fi-ish).

“The Writer’s Block.” I am picturing something similar to the Monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
